Why does the sun follow me as I roam
Why do the flowers dance in the air
Why does the moon guide me home
Why do stars sparkle and flare

Why does light shine so bright
Why do birds chirp so loud
Why does life move on at night
Why do raindrops fall from a cloud

Because the sun helps me grow
Because flowers keep me smiling
Because the moon is my chaperon
Because stars encourage my viewing

An Angel sent from the heavens above
Sent for us to care for and love
His eyes as deep as the deep black sea
His nose as cute, as cute as can be
His lips like his moms, everyone rants
His cheeks are cute and chunky like his aunts
All around he looks like his uncle
Though when he laughs he has his dad's chuckle
This child, we all know, places a stamp in our hearts
When can eat him up like a strawberry tart
In his life we are sure he'll go far
